Pray for Our Pastors
Thanks for checking back here on a regular basis and contributing to the One Prayer community!
Speaking of community, have you ever considered how isolated our pastors might feel at times? We look to them for guidance, teaching, leadership, and all sorts of help. But who are they able to count on when they need those same things? When it comes to relationships, church leadership can easily turn into a one-way street. But it’s not healthy to go it alone during the marathon of ministry—strong friendships are a must if our pastors are going to last for the long haul.
During our prayers today, let’s lift up our pastors and church leaders. Pray that God would help them develop and maintain solid friendships where they can find encouragement and support. Ask that One Prayer would be a reminder to us that churches don’t compete against each other, but that we complete each other. And as fences between ministries begin to crumble, pray that our church leaders are able to reach out to each other and form valuable relationships to sustain them.
How are you praying for your pastor today? Share your prayers below and take a few moments to lift up some other church leaders while you’re here.
I give thanks that I have a pastor that answers "the call" and isn't afraid to go after his vision. I
pray that Craig "does not grow weary in doing good" and continues to have ears to hear God's
mighty voice. My family and I are consistently blessed as a result of Craig's obedience because
we get to be a part of all Life Church and other churches are banding together to do. Thank
you, Craig, and continue your faithful walk.
I would just like to say that we lift you up Pastor Craig and your wife Amy and family in prayer, and we support the good work that you are doing for God. We also lift up in prayer the multiple Lifechurch staff members who are in service for the Lord at all campuses. We are so blessed to be part of something so phenomenal for God. We tend to forget, as the devotional says, that our leaders do need our support, and we should not always be taking from them. We must remember we are the body of Christ and each member needs the other from the pastor to the staff to the volunteers and to the members of the congregation. As humans we tend to get selfish and be consumers, but we should be giving more than receiving. We thank you Pastor Craig and your staff from the bottom of our hearts for your Godly leadership!!! Please keep us informed as to how we can further support and lift you and your staff up as you continue to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Thank you all so much for praying for your pastoral staff at your churches. We sometimes forget that people are praying for us. It is easy to feel alone at times, and to know that people are praying specifically for us is very encouraging.
I'm praying for the pastors that are receiving opposition at their churches for even participating in OnePrayer. When I read that someone was the only person in their church that was watching the sermon, my heart sank for them. I know that satan is trying hard to divide the churches who want to be unified through this. I will continue to pray for them!
What a blessing to get to be involved with this church and Pastor Craig and all the other Pastors and staff at LifeChurch. Now we are blessed to be a part of One Prayer! It is overwhelming to think how huge this really is and only God could have put it all together so quickly. We know our true enemy has been knocked back on his heels by this one and he is going to come back fighting harder than ever. So our one prayer would be that Pastor Craig and all the other Pastors involved in One Prayer would put on their shield or armor and that God would wrap loving arms around them and keep them strong and safe and ready to do battle.
Father, I lift my brothers in ministry to you asking that you empower and energize them in many ways through this ONE PRAYER series. I have been encouraged by the messages, by the interaction and by the excited that our people have found. Give your wisdom to your men. Give uscourage to be who you have called us to be. Give us the understanding of when we need to be silent. Give us the vision to look beyond, between and behind all that is around. Thank you for daily filling from you. I ask others to lift their pastors in prayer by name today and several times each week. Thank you for the blessings of the awesome people we get to serve with and for giving us ONE PRAYER. Lord, Make Us ONE....
Pastor crow at victory.
Thank you God for having a such great pastor who love you so much and love people so so much.
Thank you lord for his anointing, his intelligence, and for him being a such powerful leader.
Thank you God for blessing me with a pastor who goes the extra miles , Lord i pray that you will bless everything he does, that you will protect him, provide for him, give him clear direction and plenty of rest.
Bless him and his family.
I thank Pastor Ralph ten Brinke at Jubilee Faith Centre in Dunnville On. I pray the leading of God's Spirit on his person. That we as God's children will walk and abide in His ways, truth and life which God revealed through His Son. May we all submit our will to the Father. Then the Father's will may be done through us. As we would want to be loved,we would love each other the same way.Let not the Holy Spirit be grieved! Receive all of our Lord Jesus words and keep them. Practice faith that does the word. That we as believer may be found and known by our Lord Jesus. Reconcile to God made possible by Jesus blood. Rest in God's righteousness. Made one with the Lord Jesus as He is one with the Father.Let the image of God's Son shine on us for the world to see. Thank you father in Jesus name.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift up Pastor Tim Lucas of Liquid Church. Thank you Father for the wisdom you give him to create the profound messages about your love for us. Thank you for guiding him to lead our church and influence and excite people to nurture relationships with each other. I pray you bless Pastor Tim and his wife Colleen to live an abundant life. I pray you give them the strength to accomplish every task they have and let each accomplishment glorify your name. Oh Lord, we all love Pastor Tim so much, please hear his prayers and provide him with the peace and comfort he needs to live as strongly as Abraham did. In Jesus Name, I pray AMEN!
I pray for all the pastors represented by each church and thank God for each of you and the vision that God has given you to commit to the "One Prayer" outreach. I hope to get in touch with you individually and be a prayer warrior for each and every one. God bless you, your family, your ministry that He has given to you, and above all that you might stand against the common enemy and stay pure.
I love you all.
I've been praying that God would strengthen pastors around the world so they could bring the word of God to everyone fearlessly. May the love of God abound in everyone called to preach and teach.
My prayer is for Jay and Lynn, and Nate and Ema and Nora (Memo) that they stay strong in their relationship to the Lord, and that they know they have the support of the flock.
I want to pray for Pastor Travis Hurst and his wife Deana at Faith Christian Outreach in Shawnee, OK. Their leadership is an inspiration, and their love and faith spills out onto those around them. I know that God sent me straight to them because that's where he wanted me to be. I look forward to every Sunday morning just to see what I'm going to hear from Pastor Travis. May God Bless Them and lift Our Church Up as we all bring the Churches and Christians together as One, Finally!
Thank you for the gift of pastor, which your Word says you gave to your church "to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:12, 13).
Thank you for Pastor Beeson and his faithfulness to your cause, for the Bible says, "it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful" (1 Corinthians 4:2).
Thank you for his personal commitment to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour and to the Word of God.
Thank you for the love he has for his wife and family demonstrating a stable and healthy family. For the Scripture says of church leadership, "he must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect" (1 Timothy 3:4).
Thank you for his thoughtful exposition of your Word, as he heeds your call to "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction" (2 Timothy 4:2).
Thank you for his leadership in our church services and Thank you for his interest in the flock under his care and the burden that he carries for your people.
Thank you for Pastor Beeson
Pastors need prayer and encouragement constantly. They lay their lives on the line on a daily basis. Our Pastor is a newly elected and very young. God is working in his life in an amazing way. My prayer for all pastors and especially new ones; May God touch them in a deep and powerful way, may He keep them on the straight and narrow path and may they hear His voice and be able lead their church boldly. God please give them rest and show them what it means to rest in you. Love to you Jarrod and Erin.
I pray that God anointing will be on Pastor Mark Crow and pastor Craig Groeschel tomorrow night at victory.
I pray that we are going to have a lot of fun.
Thank you God for those two great leaders.
Lord i lift up the 17 churches who are going to be there and pray that everyone will have a good time and receive the message you have for us.
Thank you God for unifying us and the power you giving us when we all together.
Blessings to our Pastors at all of our Life Church campuses as well as all the pastors who have committed to ONE PRAYER! My ONE PRAYER is that all other pastors all over the world hear this cry for unification and that they realize there is no competition and that we all can work together! I pray for Protection for all pastors, give them strength when they are weary and let them know that we are here for them!!
We pray that our One Prayer changes things. We pray that our families and friends and that the peep's that cross our paths daily wil start going to a church reguarly. I'm trying to spread the word to all i meet. We are the only Bible some have ever read. God is so big.
My friend Shanna just received word that her Aunt Jamie was re-admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately, she has numerous blood clots in her leg, and is in great pain. An earlier blood clot resulted in a stroke that put her in the hospital prior to Shanna’s grandfather’s recent passing. They informed Shanna’s Aunt Jamie that they could not treat the blood clots because of her severe cancer and sent her home with 24 hour hospice care. Shanna’s Grandmother, also her Aunt Jamie’s mother, is in the hospital with a fractured collarbone received shortly after her husband’s passing, and Shanna’s mother is recovering from her recent massive heart attack. Please join Shanna in prayer for a full recovery for her Aunt Jamie, Grandmother and Mother. Yesterday, Steven Furtick, Lead Pastor at Elevation Church, encouraged us in the One Prayer daily devotional to be audacious in our prayers, boldly asking God to do something enormous. Let’s unite as one in this bold prayer. Our Jesus can do anything!
I'm Lindsey from the South Tulsa LifeChurch campus, and I'm definitely praying for God's wisdom and direction for the pastors who lead us. Also, that they would remain unified in purpose and keep their eyes on the common goal of serving Jesus. I think Pastor Craig and Pastor Perry Noble have done an amazing job so far, and I'm really excited for next week! It's so great to hear from different pastors and feel the sense of unity in the body of Christ!! Sunday's sermon was great and really got me thinking about the two crowds he talked about... the first group was walking with Jesus and confident in Him; the second group was depressed and dwelling on their negative circumstances. But I was especially touched by the fact that Jesus was walking TOWARD them and desired to help them... they just needed to look up and see that He was there. I believe He's the same way today. If you're not walking with Him, He is walking toward you and He cares about you deeply.
Those of us who are going strong in our walks with God should be doing the same thing as those in the group with Jesus did - walking toward and reaching out to those who are in pain or struggling, while trusting God and being excited about what He's going to do! I'm praying that this series will continue to unite the church so that we can be a better witness and really be sold out to what God is calling us to do!
More than anything!!!! I believe that a sweet prayer would be that the pastors who are willing, devoted, followers of Christ will be CONSUMED!!!!
Man, I'm talking like how David and Jeremiah were consumed with th house of God (Psalm 69:9), with His law (Psalm 119:20), with God and His Holy Word (Jerimiah 20:9, 23:9).
I mean dude, Jesus laid it down when He told the leaders of the law what the two GREATEST comandments were in : To LOVE the the Lord your God WITH ALL your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and the second is like it; to LOVE you neighbor as you love yourself. Although the second is very important, the first is there for a reason. God called us to himself to LOVE HIM!!! PERIOD!!! To lay our life down to be crucified!!! That Jesus Christ may live inside of us, that His thoughts, actions, and love may resonate from our lives.
That is my prayer: That the leaders of the Church seek to be CUNSUMED with GOD!!!!
I will be praying for the pastors envolved in the One Prayer mission to continue to have the strength, courage and wisdom to continue to led us. But I will also be praying for the pastors of the churches who would criticize us for what we, as a unified church, are trying to do. I will pray for God to soften their hearts so they may see that what One Prayer is doing is a wonderful thing even if it conflicts with how they believe things should be done. I pray God shows everyone that our diversity is our strength.
My prayer is that the Lord will abundantly bless all the pastors & churches who are participating in One Prayer. Continue to unite us Lord and make us one. Bless you Pastor Craig for listening, hearing, & being obedient to the Lord & His calling on your life. Thank you for your amazing leadership.
I am humbled by the amazing power of our Lord to bring us all together and how His people are working together to unite and be "one nation under God". I am definitely "holding on to my fork"!
Once again, one letter makes all the difference, only one , but a very important one, one that,
if missing will keep our Church from fullfiling it's purpose & doing God's work; the letter "L"
if this letter is missing from the word "complete", we will "compete" & therefore be divided,
excaclty what Satan wants, but as our pastors come together on this journey, they are defeating our
enemy, so I pray for continuing partnership between pastors all over the wrold!! I aslo pay for a
wall of protection around them & their families, & for Gos to give them wisdom to lead people to Christ
In the name of my wonderful savior
Jesus Christ I pray!!
Blessings to Pastor Jon and Pastor Dan for their devotion to the work of Prairie Heights Community Church in Fargo, ND. Their energy is extraordinary and the Lord has blessed the church because of their faithfulness.
Forgive me Lord for not remembering them in prayer as much as I should. Please remind me on a daily basis how grateful I should be for these men of God and bless them for they carry a small part of Your burden daily.
Father thank you for our pastors and leaders. Please continually let your presence be known and felt in them, reminding them of how precious they are in your sight. Heal their wounds, help them to find refuge in fellow pastors and leaders so they may be stregnthened and encouraged by one another. Increase their anointing, reveal yourself, drawing them into even deeper intimacy with each one. Be with them especially on Mondays when it is often the darkest time for them and let your Word brighten their days. Help them to continually fix their eyes on you, the author and refiner of our faith. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
I am from NewSpring Church in Anderson, SC and I would 1st like to pray for all the pastors out there that spend thier time putting down other pastors and churches! How dare you? The time you spend bashing others, you could have been spreading God's word instead of jeIously and hatred!
Next I would next like to pray for the pastors at NewSpring. You guys make church so awesome everyweek and my family will continue to lift you up in prayer. This church staff is on FIRE for JESUS! And they know how to show it!
Last and certainly not least I would like to pray for all the pastors out there. Those who have growing churches and those who need thier church to grow. I pray that each and everyone of you build up God's church and your community showing the love of Christ to EVERYONE, not just those inside the church walls, but to EVERYONE!
Oh and I don't want to forget to pray for Pastor Scott other pastors at LifeChruch.TV....NW campus....YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!
I pray that the pastors that speak in this series are able to touch as many lives as possible. I pray that other church pastors put their differences aside and come together for the common good....and a special prayer to Craig...I pray that in times that people do not beleive in you that God keeps giving you a boost...You are doing a wonderful job...
My prayer is for our wonderful Paster Craig and his family, not only may have the wisdom to lead all of us, but the other Pastors of our campuses. (And still have great wisdom for ALL his kids.) You are a true inspiration to us.
For Pastor Trevor and his family, I pray your passion for the Lord will always make you pound on a table to get your point across. I truly admire your drive for God.
For Stephon, if there was ever to be a person that could come in and take up what Clint was doing it's you! You are a true blessing to know.
For all the other Pastors/Leaders of the South OKC Campus you guys do a GREAT job, for the kids of all ages, the music, everything!!!! Thank you a million times over and I pray your serving hearts are blessed beyond all measures.
Clint your not at our campus any more but forever in our hearts!!!! We miss seeing you and Nikki. Thank you for all that you have brought into my life, and I hope that your fever for the LORD everyone catches. You are truly one of my angels on earth.
I am so grateful for those of you who are praying for the pastors. THANK YOU!
I pray that Pastor Craig never feels alone and knows that when he gives guidance to thousands of people, every single one of those people would give that guidance right back to him if he ever needed it. We are all in this together, as equals.
I too appreciate the pastors in my life who have taught, counseled and challenged me in my
Christian walk. I ask God to bless my former pastors, Delbert Akin, Roger Ballard, Kenny Meyers
and their families. I pray that God will continue to bless the Holbrooks at Harrah Church and that
they wil feel supported and loved by our congregation. My special prayer is for the pastor's wives
who are the only people in a church who do not have a pastor. I am honored to call them my friend
and am amazed by their committment to their husband's ministry.
I am always blown away to see how God works through Craig, Amy, and their family. I pray that God will shield Craig from the many, many spiritual attacks that assumably come his way every day. He is helping so many with his courageous leadership, and so I know he must be feeling a high amount of attacks from the enemy.
I pray for all of the other pastors at LifeChurch.tv as well. I can tell by their actions that their hearts are filled with so much intensity to share the love of Christ. I am blessed by them, and I want to ask the Holy Spirit to protect them each and every day!
Greatful! Ginger, LifeChurch.tv south okc
I'm from Harrah Church, Harrah OK. We are so blessed to have the pastor we do, Jimmy Holbrook. Jimmy helps us to see the big picture and to always reach out to others. I thank God that Jimmy included our church in Oneprayer. What an amazing thing we are experiencing! "Lord, please continue to keep Jimmy and Abby strong, and to help them know they are appreciated always for all they do."
I pray for Pastor Glenn Bone of GSM I pray that God will refresh him, strengthen him, give him clarity and direction, sustain him, and bless him. I pray that God will give him direction for the next step in ministry and remove all distractions, hinderances, and obstacles from his path. I pray God will give him balance, encouragment, and peace. I pray that God willgrant him the desires of his heart.
I also pray for all the pastors here in the comments that God will keep them, bless them and refresh them.
Pastor Prayer - First I pray for Pastor Craig's prayer - That we all become one.
I was moved by the first video we saw of Pastor Craig interviewing people on the street and their views of Christians. It hurt my heart to know that to many we have a very negative impact. It is my prayer that I contribute to changing that in my daily circle. I also pray that Pastor Craig is filled with the movement of the Spirit through the joining of all these churches to Unite! I pray for his family as they support him as well.
Locally, I pray for Pastor Chris. I pray that he is blessed by the immediate reaction of the Tulsa membership to this "movement". I pray that he find encouragement and support in knowing that
his constant efforts continue to inspire others to have a daily relationship with God!
I pray for Pastor Aaron and the rest of the crew involved in our micro mission this weekend. As we truly live out what it means to unite and come together for others in need. I know that God will bless this weekend and change lives for many.
I also pray for Lifestock!! That those being baptized will experience the true beauty of becoming
a believer and witness first-hand the fellowship that comes of it! OH, and IF it is NOT raining (which is would be a miracle in itself) that we all wear sunblock!
While I am at, I pray for Derrick and the band too! Rock on with your badselves!!
I pray for pastor Travis Hurst and pastor Steve Brown as they come together with other ministries for the Shawnee Festival outreach this Saturday at Woodland Park. May many people be blessed and many come to know Christ! May it be the start of a great revival in Shawnee,OK
When I look at what it takes to pastor a church, it blows my mind. From the pastor launching a fledgling church in someone's living room to the pastor of multiple campuses and thousands of people, it's a grueling job that requires them to juggle leadership skills, teaching ability, business savvy, ministry needs, and so much more...all with the underlying knowledge that there are eternal implications to what they do. My prayer for each pastor is that they would wholeheartedly seek to become the church God wants them to be, that He would lead them with unquestionable clarity in that journey, and that they and their church would embrace that vision, rejoice in their unique DNA, and fully step into God's one-of-a-kind plan for them.
I'm from Liberty Church North Campus Pensacola FL
I want to lift up in prayer Pastor Josh and all the ministry leadership at Liberty Church North Campus and all Liberty Church pastors and leadership team members to continue to focus on what God wants for our church and have strength and encouragement along the way. The leadership team and Pastor Josh exude this amazing passion for God and it's inspiring. I pray that they are inspired as much as they inspire me and that fire for God in them never ceases. You can see it and it's awesome!
I love the fact that we are trying to unite the Christian faith all around the world. As Craig said Sunday, churches should be uniting instead of trying to knock each other down.
Here is a piece from when the Pope said that Catholicism was the only real religion.
"Christ 'established here on earth' only one Church," the document said. The other communities "cannot be called 'churches' in the proper sense" because they do not have apostolic succession — the ability to trace their bishops back to Christ's original apostles.
We may or may not believe everything that each denomination believes but the common denominator is Christ. Whether you're playing with rattlers or dancing down the isles the common denominator is Christ.
The other common denominator of it all as Craig said is our enemy. Satan is always there.
One Prayer gives us a chance to gain ground on Satan. To unite together making our bond strong enough to withstand Satan's barrage on the church and our individual lives.
As iron sharpens iron,
so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron,
so one Church sharpens another.

I am so appreciative of Craig our Senior Pastor at LC and our LC Stillwater Pastors GT and Jeff.
They bring a spirit of excellence every week to reach out to the lost and broken.
It’s easy to put these guys on a pedestal or go the other direction and be critical and judgmental.
These men are regular guys doing God’s work!
I pray that we are partnering with the church and keeping our pastors and their families covered with DAILY PRAYER.
It’s important and they need our Prayers.
Lord:
I pray these men have time daily to spend with you to be refreshed and built up in your spirit and word.
I pray you surround these men with a small intimate group to build trust, transparency and accountability.
I pray you put it on the hearts of your people to keep our pastors and their families surrounded in prayer.
I pray you provide daily Godly Wisdom and direction for our pastors.
I pray for health and provision for our pastors and their families.
Lord:
I am thankful for these men and families and their obedience and sacrifice to follow the plan you have designed for them.
Fill them Lord with your Holy Spirit Resurrected Power.
Amen
Grateful in Stillwater
Father, I lift up to you our pastor at Celebration Church in Jacksonville, FL; Pastor Stovall; as well as all the other pastors and staff that are involved in the ministry at
our church.
Lord I pray that you would continue to use them in a mighty way for your Kingdom,
that you would annoint their messages, bless them and their families for their service to you Father. I pray that you would continue to strengthen them, that you would give
them a fresh vision for our church and that you will continue to provide them with
encouragement and safety and protection. Lord, I lift up to you our Imagine campaign and that you would touch people's hearts in the arena of generosity. Father I pray all these things to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!
Thank you Lord for Pastor Crow and all the pastors at Victory.
I pray that you will give them clear direction this month and that you will protect them, bless them and you will answer their prayers.
I want to leave a prayer for my pastor, Jimmy Holbrook and his family. Jimmy is an amazing leader of our church, willing to boldly take risks for Christ and he challenges us to do the same. Before Jimmy came, our church was somewhat traditional. But, in the past several years we have become more focused on reaching the lost and being more relevant to people's lives. It has been awesome to see the number of people whose lives have been changed as a result. Jimmy has done an outstanding job of casting vision and providing support through many changes. I know he has had to deal with MANY attacks brought on by our enemy, Satan. I pray for our church to stand fast behind Jimmy, supporting him. And I pray for protection over Jimmy and his family. I also pray for all other pastors who are going through the same trials in other churches. I pray for them to stand fast in their convictions and that God will bring people alongside them to aide them in their journey.
We just wanted to lift up our pastor, elders, and ministry leaders at Horizon Church in Statesville, NC.
May our Lord continue to give them the patience, wisdom, and covering as they reach out to
those in need in our community. Bless them for the leadership decision to include us in the
one prayer movement, as it bring us to a much "larger" focus as our church grows and develops.
May our Lord provide them and their families with peaceful moments, encouragement, and
protection during these days and days to come. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ.
Sweet Father, wow, you are our leader, the leaders leader. Lord, I sit and think of those over the history of time that you led. The list is endless with amazing men and women following hard after you and submitted to your hand. Lord, I left each leader up before you Lord and ask that you be the power behind them. Those in our military, corporate american and those in government, those in civil, those at the local restaurant, those in our churches, our pastors all over the world. Lord, we thank you that you have led OnePrayer. We thank you that these pastors saw something they knew AW HA, Lord thank you that they set themselves aside so often so unnoticed. Lord, we praise you alone for each pastor in a church today and in the days to come. Lord, lead them. Give them a heart for unity in your body like never before. Lord, I thank you for each pastors family. They often times give and give for your sake, let no hardning of their hearts take place. Let these that lead make their family a priority on purpose. Lord, let each have a heart to dwell in your house oh Lord all the days of their lives. Lord, the children of these leaders Lord, make them strong in You and give them a heart of understanding and love. I read the other day a quote and it said," Pull me down hard, drown me in love." Lord, I pray this for your body. Lord pull us down hard and drown us in Love. teach us to love one another and love ourselves through your eyes. Lord drown us in love for those far from you, give each of us understanding, as there has been so many who had understanding and love with each of us as You Lord led us to Your truth. Father we worship and praise you today. We ask that all glory and honor go to you Lord, and that those not resting in you fold, have eyes to see the love and unity between us that they will desire the authentic LOve you offer freely. I pray these things and ask them in your name. Amen
Thank you Lord for those who have led our family. Thank you for the leadership we have been under at our church.
Christi Bragg, Ft. Worth, Texas Lifechurch.tv & Crosstimbers Community Church Argyle Texas
Lord, keep your hand on Pastor Robert, give him comfort, strength, encouragement. Please lead our church and others around him in the direction, that will fill his needs at all time, whether it is encouragement, comfort whatever he needs let's us have the knowlege to know these needs and be able to act upon them. .
God, I pray that you would continue to pull our pastors hearts towards the idea of working together and being on the same team. Help us stop putting up battles between each other and instead help us focus on working together to share your love with the world. Give our pastors strength and perseverance as many face hardships outside of the church as well as within the church, give them the drive to stay firm and to push on and lead us to follow you more.....
Thank you pastors for all you do!
Adam, lc.tv tulsa campua
I would like to pray for all the pastors I have been blest to be associated with over the past 10 years. My moving around has put me in many different churches and I have appreciated each of these pastors. My current pastor is (Mark Beeson GCC,) (Mark Mobley Living word Christian Church), (Brian Williams First Nazarene), (Roger Welty Victory Faith), (john Fozard First Church of God Anderson). God watch over all of these men and their staff's. Each has been a part of my life and they continue to be a part of many more lives, give them discernment beyond themselves, bring forth the words, the deeds, the actions that you would have for them, and that will strengthen your Kingdom. I believe each of these men have been called by you and have a heart willing to be molded, Each is human and needs your continued guidance and blessing. Thank you for them and thank you for continuing to bless and grow them in all they do for your kingdom.
Blessings to all you pastors.

I was so happy to see this as the topic for today because amazingly I spent much of my day yesterday in prayer for our pastor Trevor. My husband and I haven't known Trevor or Stefan for very long, but I can tell you they both have such a Christ filled heart that it just made me have to pray to God thanking him for leading them both into ministry. I pray they both know that they should never feel isolation because they are our leaders. I have never really attended a Church before where I just wished I had my pastors as friends in the everday world (you know the kind of friends you have over to watch OSU football on Saturday) and my husband and I both feel that way about them. I pray they both know they have friendships in us and that we are able to support them and be there for them as they have been for us. God keep doing fabulous things with these two men, you made a GREAT choice calling them to serve you and from the bottom of my heart I thank you. AMEN!
If I were Satan, I'd unleash as many demons as necessary to ensure that pastors and music ministers do not have daily, concentrated prayer. I'd make sure the music was talented and entertaining, the preaching was compelling with fine oratory, the pastor paid well and "mission" trips for the church on a regular basis to make everyone think the church was doing something with eternal weight.
The pastor leads the church. If he doesn't seek God's face, neither will anyone else. If the pastor is given to prayer and cares only to seek the face of Almighty God, the devil is defeated. The preaching will be convicting and anointed. The lost will get saved, the saved will be true disciples and Satan's works will be destroyed.
The music minister is likely to be the first impression one gets of the ministry of the church. If the music minister is devoted to daily, consecrated prayer, his ministry will have the anointing of the Holy Ghost bringing the worshippers into true worship. If the music minister is highly talented but seldom seeks the face of God in secret, undistracted, concentrated prayer, his works will only be in the flesh bringing the worshippers, at best, to a fleshly emotional high which is counterfeit of Holy Spirit anointed worship.
Please pray our pastors and music ministers get into daily, undistracted, uninterrupted, consecrated prayer. Pray their lives are ostentatiously seasoned with prayer time which has no competition with driving, jogging or any other activity. Jesus said, "Go into the closet and close the door . . ." for a reason. That is, not to compromise concentrated communication with God. So, please pray our pastors and music ministers do not compromise their prayer time. Pray also they find a time when no one will call them on the phone, knock on the door or any other thing. Pray for them to choose a time when they are fully rested, their minds are fresh and everyone else is asleep. A large cup of tea or coffee is helpful.
I thank God for my family, Craig and our LC campus team, and the needs for the day; which, I believe, is my daily bread [to serve]. To think of the [incredible] trust and faith our pastors must have to press us to the edge, to seek after Jesus Christ, knowing we are going to be tested or attacked, and ultimately our faith will be strengthened. Afterall, 5 minutes of obedience will replace years of study.
I praise God that He gave our pastors (Larry, Kevin, Chris, Ronda, Mayra & Todd) their heart to seek after Him, that they listen, and by faith they go. Many probably read the daily devotional "My utmost for his highest." Today's reading, like many days, is spot on!
Our pastor Tome Dawson is always on fire-always smiling and always thanking us for serving-we feel very proud to serve under him and pray that he is not overwhelmed.
AMEN. we all need to lift one another up
