Ive joined in the one prayer series and the fasting as well. I pray for anyone and EVERYONE who doesnt know our lord and savior will somehow be brought to him. I also have been carrying a list around with me while fasting on tuesdays of all the people that are close to me that need the love of christ. I read over the list periodicly to pray for them. This message gives me hope not only for my loved ones but for everyone else as well. i praise God for what i know he will do in this series! I just ask that you pray especially for my sister who is so lost and has no joy in her life at all!! thanks for your prayers for my family as i pray for yours!! God is moving as we speak!!

Please pray for my son, Ashton. He is 2 1/2-will be 3 in July. He has never walked or talked, and just now on the verge of crawling (kind of). I pray for a miracle for him-I so long for him to be able to walk
and talk (or at least communicate so we know what he wants and needs). He is such a happy
little guy-he lights up the room when he is around! I just pray so hard and ask you to do the
same so that there might be a miracle in store for him.

Please pray for Beth (7yrs) who is the daughter of some very good friends of ours, who are not Christians. She is undergoing major brain surgery on the 24th of June. She has had cerebral palsy from birth. Our friends know we are getting a number of churches to pray for her and our church is also involved in OnePrayer so we would love to put this prayer request out there to you all. I pray that the surgery is a complete success; that our friends and their dear family would see the mighty hand of God at work and that they would recognise this as the work of Jesus in their daughters life. Amen!

I would like to request a prayer for work for my husband. He has been slower this year than usual. He is in roofing. Also our friends are staying with us they need to find a place of there own. They are good people down on there luck. With five kids it is hard to find a place. And there is a situation with my father in law that is complicated and we all need prayer on this one. I am in desperate need of prayer for my family. I have been in ongoing battle with my exhusband.
The situation has become out of hand. I really took the sermon to heart yesterday. It made me
realize that know matter how difficult the situation may be, Jesus is bigger than the problem.
I NEED to belive that. It seems like an impossible situation and I am just about hopeless. I will
be fasting tomorrow and praying for my needs as well as the needs of others. I need a miracle!

I beg for you to pray for me for the LORD our GOD to have mercy on me and my family. I have an interview tomorrow and i need the LORD to dismiss my case. May the Lord's favour be upon me. May Heavenly father grant my family Long Life Good Health and Prosperity and may HE accomplished all that HE has promised us. May GOD's favour be upon my children and my husband, the days of poverties, sickness, failure, are gone in our lives in Jesus name. May Heavenly father protect my husband whom is working away from the family may he show him mercy.

My daughter has always had a problem making friends and as a result she does not always choose the right people. She also will do things to maintain that 'friendship' which usually brings her - and I - great grief. She has been arrested and goes to a hearing tomorrow. I ask that you keep her in prayer tomorrow at 2:30 EST. I am not asking that she 'get away with anything' - I am asking for mercy from the corut (this is her first charge ever - but more important I am asking that she have a new awareness and knowledge in her personal struggles in life. She knows the Lord but she has been led astray from his teachings. I pray that God puts more people in her path to show her true friendship and that she has another change to have a good life without a criminal record. Thank you

Wow! I just read through all the posts and....what an eye opener!! I feel that so many times we go through our daily lives not understanding the struggles & situations that other people are facing. I would like to post a prayer request as well. My grandpa had a severe stroke about 4 yrs ago. He then fell two years later & had to have a hip replacement. He is completely incapable of doing anything on his own & my grandmother has been taking care of him (in their home) for the past 4 years. They were such an inspiration to me growing up & were the most amazing, God-fearing, Christian couple I have ever known. They served in the same church for over 50 years and are such a blessing in lives of so many people. My grandma is such a rock & pray for her strength daily. My father helps out but sometimes only adds to the stress of their daily lives. He has mental issues and is very unstable & therefore (in a sense) my grandma has to care for him as well. So I would just like to ask for you to pray for healing in my grandpa, a sense of peace, joy & strength for my grandma, & clarity & healing in my dad.

I would really appreciate prayer for a friend of mine who is in the midst of a hardcore battle with OCD and depression. It has been an extremely difficult time these past several months and things seem to be getting worse. He needs nothing short of a miracle to understand God's love once again and to have hope for the future.

Since this series has started both my husband and I have experienced first hand what non-believers think about us (Christians as a whole). My husband Mark met a guy at work that is a self-proclaimed atheist and I have met someone at work that thinks there may be a higher power but has "lost faith" as she says. It has been interesting to see how amazed these two people are that we are genuinely interested in hearing their opinions on how they view Christians. They can't believe that there is actually a church out there willing to just listen instead of judging them. We need lots of prayers for God to show us, teach us, and guide us to lead these two people to "become fully devoted followers of Christ". That would be our ONE PRAYER during this series...to lead more people to become followers of Christ.

I would really appreciate prayer. I love the Lord. I am desparate for a miracle. My health keeps getting worse and worse. I have had 3 sinus surgeries in the last year. I was just told I need another one. Also, the doctor saw "something" in the CT scan that he has no idea what it is. He thought it might be a piece of a bone or something. When it is in YOUR head it is scary. I was in the hospital recently for blood clots. It just seems like things just keep compounding themselves. I have had a low grade temp. all weekend. New symptoms keep popping up and none of the doctor's have any answers---they just keep taking the money. I am discouraged and very tired. I need to keep my job and it is really taking it out of me. Please pray!!!

Please pray for my son Chris. He's 18 yrs.He is currently in SanDiego Cal. in the Marines enduring 13 weeks of bootcamp. He flew from Mich to Cal. June 9,2008 the day after his senior graduation. Pray that God's hands of protection would rest upon him during these next weeks away from family also that God would put Christian influences in his path .

Please pray for my husband James(Jim) as he is scheduled for court AUG2008. Pray! Pray! He is facing 15 years . Thru the jail ministery (ForgottenMans) founded by well known christian speaker Chuck Colson, Jim has recommitted his life to Jesus Christ. I'm not speaking of jail house religion. Jim is daily reading the Bible as well as praying. I am currently raising our 14 mon. son alone. I need my husband restored back into the household to help support and raise our son.

Please pray for my father who had a heart attack last year and suffered brain damage. My mother has had to take care of him 24/7 for the past 6 months. he cant even roll over in bed or feed himself. My mother and unsaved mentally ill brother are exhausted from taking care of him. I can only give respite every few months through family leave. Please pray that God would show his mercy and heal my father and brother (also save my brother) and give a much needed divine rest to my mother.

I understand, when you say unequally yoked. My husband and are are too. We did not live with God's truth in our lives. Therefore I found a man that was just like my father. I felt comfortable when we met because all I knew was, life was a roller cioaster. I am saved and my husband is not. We have been together for 30 years. He is an alcoholic. I plead and beg him to see his self desrtuction and the destruction of our marriage.. We split for a few months. He promised many things but did nothing. All this time I have been reading "The Power Of A Praying Wife" by: Stormie Martin. Please get the book if you have not already. I learned to detatch myself from my husbands effects on me. I still love him and I am now doing things for him that I recented before. BECAUSE, I look at what I do for my husband and our home, as serving God and delighting in it. Not serving a man who is unkind due to his disease. We now are going together to see our Pastor. That was a step I never in a million years thought my husband would take. God is Merciful.
I will pray for the restoration of your marriage, I pray God will fill your hearts with the same wonderful love you felt when you met each other, I pray for your children also , that God will wrap his comforting arms around them and fill their hearts with love. For God Loves us even when we are not seeking him. I pray for God to show you clarity and reveal what he has planned for you as you walk beside him. PLease please pray that God restore my marriage. I need God so much right now. I thought things were getting better between us and God was healing us but we continue to struggle daily. There are so many issues between us and the biggest one is his past drug problem that he thinks I should be over and trust him already again. I just got off the phone with him and he said he's calling divorse attorneys. I don't know what to do. I need you God so badly. Please restore our love and our marriage if its your will. WE have four kids and we all just moved back in together after a 4 month split while he was in rehab recovering.
I read Criag Groesheles book about going all the way and man I did the marriage and dating thing all wrong and I truely believe that we have been in the past very unequally yoked and thats why we have had the struggles we've had. He's come to God and I've come to God but we continue to struggle. Please help us LORD, Please restore trust, love, peace and happiness in our home. I just don't know what to do anymore. I've been so incredibly patient on the LORD but what do you do when its such a struggle are we just not supposed to be together?

Please pray for my dear friend Mario who has been in the hospital since January. It was his birthday yesterday. Please pray that he gets weaned off the ventilator soon, otherwise he will be forced to be shipped over a hundred miles away from his family and friends. Please pray for a miracle and Thank God for the miracle in advance for Mario's healing. He would love to be able to eat and drink again. The specifics are that he gets off the ventilator and that he passes a swallowing study so he can eat again. This is his miracle wish. He is a stong young man with Cerebal Palsy and only wishes to eat again and be near his family.

Hello, my name is Terrie. I am disabled with some very painful deseases. I have ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, liver function problems, and other health issues. My husband has divorced me and left me and our son with very little. My son is a very loving child, but is having anger issues. Please pray for him, he has Aspergers Syndrome and dysgraphia with some other minor coordination problems. He is 11 and is still unable to ride a bike, use a skateboard, etc., like 'normal' kids do. He is very smart though, and is considered 'high-functioning'. We need prayers for our health, emotional healing, as well as prayers for our daily lives. We are about to be on the street soon. My ex is saying he will be evicting us after June 15th. I can't work, have been turned down for disability, SSI, Medicaid, etc. So far, I haven't been able to get anything done for my healthcare needs. Please pray for me today, as I go to the Indigent Healthcare Office, my last chance for help, and apply there today. I am almost ourt of the Kadian I need for pain relief and I need your support. Without the medicine, I am in so much pain that all I can do is roll into a ball and moan and cry, no matter how much I want to be strong. I am praying for everyone else in need here too. By the way, my son loves to watch Jentezen on TV. He brings such a wonderful message to our young people. Love to you all, in Christ.

Wow, I can't believe I just went through and prayed for all these prayer requests.
That was awesome! What a blessing. My heart goes out to so many of you, and
is encouraged by your faith and glory in the Lord. Thanks to all of you who shared.
It is such an honor to be able to lift up one another to the Lord God who is more than
able and willing to help us, his precious children.

I would ask that you pray that God's love for the lost would fill me so much that his Spirit
would flow through me effortlessly. I let fear and insecurity keep me from talking about
Him which is crazy because I love Him so much. And I hate that so many don't know Him.
I want to trust Him completely. And would you also pray that the Lord would guide us and
provide financially for our family's formidable health needs. GOD IS SO GOOD!

I've invited people to attend church with me this weekend. So I pray that they will actually come and then that when they get there they will feel the sweet presence of God in the experiences.

I just said a prayer for you and your husband. I know financial troubles aren't easy to deal with sometimes. Be faithful to God and know that He is your source. He will make provision for His children...He already has it! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. =)

I ask that all of you please pray for me and my husband's finances. We are really struggling, I sat down today to look at our bills and I don't know how we can keep going. We have made some bad choices in the past, by spending money more than we should, and I pray that we continue to be cautious and to not spend needlessly, and that our financial burden is lifted. It is really frustrating my husband, because he blames himself for not making enough, he is a US Marine who just returned home from Iraq in Feb. and it has been a hard adjustment. I pray that he see what I see and that is an awesome man who fought for our country. Sorry to go on and on, but I am just so worried about our finances, and where money is going to come from, and I don't want my husband to be burdened with feeling the way he feels. Please pray for my sister in law who is in Iraq right now that she may be safe and come home to her family. August1,2007 i decided to give my life to my savior jesus christ.what did it for me? The month pryor my boyfriend with whom i had a chil with gave his life I seen the change in him. We met in a bar he had 2 kids I'd had 2 then we had one togather, thats 5 wow and we were living togather not married . So what to do now? Get married? No not right away god hadn't gave us the ok . We had to get our life in order first. So he moved out! Wow what a time of ups and downs . Now 10 months later we are ready . My prayer is for finances for a wedding and honeymoon god wants for us . God is the only way it will happen so im praying for my family to come home now!! Thank you for your prayers!!

My wife, Kristin, was let go from work 2 1/2 months ago and has struggled in her attempts to find a new career. Although she has had several interviews, she has little to show for her efforts. This had been her fourth job in six years and was looking forward to a long tenure with this company. Very difficult for me to keep her (our) spirits up when our finances are taking a beating. Please pray for encouragement for as we wait God to show us the way.

I have sort of been a board hog today but I realize the mighty power of prayer, especially in numbers. My sister in law Charissa has wanted a baby for many many years and I would like to ask that yall please please please pray her and my brother will finally be blessed with the miracle of new life. Sveselak, thank you for your prayers. I am completely touched by perfect strangers praying for me. I will pray your husband take the reigns and leads. I never thought my husband would either, but all I had to do was pray. I wrote him a long letter after the second week of the Warrior series about what I needed from him and that was my final words in the letter and the most important. Trials in life are what make you stronger so your husband should not shy from leadership because of it, if anything those things are what make you a more effective leader. My husband is now going to be working in lifekids 2 hrs per week, he is doing bible studies for our 3 boys, signing up for micro-missions, we will attend our first lifegroup on Friday and he prayed with me OUTLOUD! It can happen, remember just pray without ceasing. It doesn't hurt to tell him what you need either (maybe light the fire) Like they said in the Warrior series give him tons of encouragement and praise. I think I have spent so much time tearing him down and didn't even realize it. See...we have known eachother since I was 14 and he was 16. I am now 28 and he is 30 so we have gotten very comfortable and sometimes it is easy to discourage instead of encourage. My husband is a truly brilliant man and I respect him so much. I will be praying for you too that your husband gets the job at the OKC fire department. One of my friends husband is a fireman somewhere around the OKC area and its so nice, he has everyother day off and he has so much time to spend with his family. I will also be praying for you and school. YOu can do it, I started college with one baby and by the time I graduated six years later I had 4 kids all 6 and under, its hard to do but you can do it. I also started working full time and started graduate school at the same time and I have one class until I am done, but I could not have done it without God's grace. But you can do it!

Patti, I am saying a prayer for the fallen officer's family too. My dad is a police officer in Stillwater, OK and has been for over 25 years, it breaks my heart everytime I see one of them fall. For some reason I have never feared my dad going to work, I guess I just fully trust God to take care of my daddy b/c I've never worried at all and he's been in some very serious situations in his career. I guess we need to pray for our policemen, firemen, and service men everyday as they protect us.

Kandice, I just read your post. My husband and I too have been going through some extrodinarily tough times the last few years and Easter weekend he had gotten out of Drug Rehab. He and I decided that it was time to go to church together as a family and stop running from God and trying to fix our mess ourselves. I had always wanted him to go to church with me for our entire 11 year marriage but could never get him to come. Well, we had just moved to Sillwater, Ok and we had no idea where to go to church but somehow the idea of Livechurch came to us, so we went to visit. I was really hesistant because some of the other churches I had gone to in my past had not spoken highly of the church but we went anyways (just shows how divided God's people are). My kids LOVED IT AND MY HUSBAND LOVED IT, and the warrior message hit him hard. He is devoted to going to church every Sunday now. We hate to miss and we schedule all activities around church on Sunday and if something else comes up we skip it or go after church. It is such a huge answered prayer. Plus, many of the people that are at the AA and NA meetings my husband goes to attend church there and my best friend from high school I found out goes there too.

God has answered a lot of my prayers like getting my husband to drug rehab and getting him clean and sober, he has gotten my family back into church and actually living under the same roof again. But you said you had prayed for your husband to be the spiritual leader of your house. Well, I have always wanted that for my husband too but I have never thought of praying for that. So now I am going to pray that for my family too. I know he wants to lead but after all the problems we've had its hard for us. So I need to learn to let him be the spiritual leader as well as him being inspired to take the reigns to do so. God is good and I know he will answer my prayer for that.

Its nice reading all the prayers on here because I not only pray for other people but I realize the things in my life that I have not prayed for myself and have not yet turned over to God. Plus its nice seeing all the believers on here praying for each other and talking about God, sometimes in the world I find it hard to find people to talk to about how EXCITED I am for the first time in my life about GOD and all the things he has done for me and my family. We still have lots to work on and lots more to do but I know God has great plans.

So Kandice, just thought your story struck a familiar sound with me about going to Lifechurch as a family on Easter and your husband and you struggling b/c thats exactly where we were on Easter too.

It's an honor to think that people around the world will be praying for my family. Please pray that we will always follow God passionately in the things he's called us to do. Please keep my friend Susan in your prayers. She has had an ongoing migraine for the past few weeks and no medication has helped. She has been to the doctor several times and all they do is give her a shot and a new prescription for pain meds. They did some blood work this week, but found nothing. She is supposed to go in for an MRI tomorrow but even with the insurance she has, she'll be out $1000---so she is not getting it done. Please pray for healing and peace of mind for her!

I just want to say how encouraging this One Prayer series has been already. It's so exciting to know that there are thousands of Christians across the globe praying for one another. That is certainly the unity Pastor Groeschell talked about. WIth that in mind, I would like to add a prayer request to the board. I am an elementary teacher, but I have been without a job for a year now. God moved my husband and I to help with a new church, and He has been faithful to take care of us. But the situation gets tougher everyday. Between gas prices, food costs, and basically everything else going up, we have barely been able to make ends meet. I know God will provide me a position, it's just a matter of when and where. Please pray that my husband and I will both be able to work in good positions, wherever we are.

It's TRULY amazing how much the power of prayer can do. I am so eternally grateful that we have such a way to communicate with God to place His hands on others and humble ourselves in such a prayer. I pray for others constantly whether or not I know them. Someone struggling on the side of the highway with a broken down car, a car accident that I may be passing, a homeless individual, a friend struggling with life's trials and tribulations, etc. I ask you now, as a complete stranger in your eyes, to pray for my fiance and me as we leave the states in a few months to start a new life together in Germany. I've prayed so much about this and could use more prayers as this is a huge step forward in my life.

Terri, my prayers are with you. Let me share my story as it is much like my own. I was invited to LC by a perfect stranger. For no reason at all other than to invite me, my first reaction would normally be, "UH OH CrAzY church lady" I have NEVER EVER gone to someone else's church on a random invite, but for some reason I could NOT stop thinking about it. So one Sunday I told my husband I was running errands and I came and sat in the back row all by myself. The next Sunday came and I brought my children. Eventually my husband came a couple of times as well. However, he stopped coming and I did too. It got lonesome in the back row feeling like I didn't belong with all of these people who were so right with God. Then I heard the song "Does Anybody See Her" by Casting Crowns and I burst into tears, that was ME! I didn't return to church but instead begin fighting my battles on my own as the lost girl in that song. My marriage began to go through a really rough time and just before Easter I had this feeling that we HAD to go to Church together at least for Easter. Honestly, I didn't know if we would be married by next Easter. We came and it was the Warrior series. This series not only changed our lives, but completely healed our marriage. Well, not the series but God. God called us back there for a reason. He knew it is what we needed. The months before when I was randomly invited and came a couple of times was God planting the seed and showing me there was a soft place to fall. I prayed and prayed my husband would become a spiritual leader in our home. He was always a believer but not a fully devoted follower of Christ. I proudly say he IS just that now and he is leading me and well as our children down a beautiful path. God has a PERFECT plan for your family just as he does mine.

Girl....walk by faith. Put one foot in front of the other and pray without ceasing. Your dreams will be realized not a day sooner or a day later than God has planned for them too. I am asking for your prayers. My son 17 yr old has moved to his fathers home, and turned his back on me and his entire family. We have been the ones there for his entire life, not his father. He has not had contact with him for years, except for an occasional phone call that my son initiated.

My heart is broken, I feel betrade. My youngest son who will be 4 in two weeks misses his brother so bad, and he doesn't understand what is going on. How can he I am an adult and I don't understand.

We had a meeting with our attorney (his father after a month now wants child support and full custody) He has never had any custody and is behind on support by thousands. But to fight this is going to cost us thousands, and we do not have that kind of money.

It is just wrong the things that man has gotten away with. I pray for him, that he finds a relationship with God and sees the things he has done in his life and asks for forgiveness from Jesus and from the people he has hurt.

PLEASE pray for my emotional state, is is not very good. I am having a really hard time with this. I need peace so very badly. I do know that when I make it through this there is a blessing like no other. But at times it hurts so bad that I would just as well meet Jesus today.

I posted last week after my first service at the NW OKC Campus. My prayer was for my sons to enjoy the church as well and for this to be a good transition.

I took one of them last Sunday to his class. He is only 2 and they had bubbles going. He was so excited to see them and before I could tell the girl in charge that my son might be hand full and cry a lot, he stuck his hands out for her. Went straight to her.

I went back after service to get him and she said he did a great job.

God is so good. He knew my little guy would love the bubbles.

Please keep praying for my older son to like it too and for my husband to join us as well.

Praying for a great awakening for those who once walked with Christ but have been disillusioned by the world and their own pain. My husband has fallen and clings to his disillusionment to the point he has left me and our toddler son after 8yrs of marriage. So many are falling. I am praying for a great awakening.

Please pray for my husband Corey. He has just interviewed for the OKC Fire Dept and this opportunity would be life changing for us. A friend sent me a video the other day that is a really great visual of what is happening in the spiritual realm. I can't stop watching it and have cried everytime I've seen it. It is powerful and amazing and I really think it will minister to you and your son (and to anyone who sees it) especially those who have fallen away from God. On Tuesday, our community buried a Police Officer. He was a wonderful husband, father, servant to the community and follower of Christ. He was shot in the line of duty, leaving behind many hurting and devastated co-workers, friends and family members. His wife, Nohemy, needs your prayers. She must continue on, raising their one year old daughter. The pain she feels can only be understood by someone who has walked in her shoes. My heart broke, seeing her pain during the services. Please pray for her and the entire Hite family.

I'm praying for a united front of those who profess to be Christ followers to follow the "head" of the church....no, the true head....not the guy who stands on the stage, not the guy that talks to us every week...but Jesus Christ! I pray for unity to go out, in His name...to think that if this actually happened, hunger would be gone, homeless would have warmth, security...be clothed. And all would know that Christ provided by his teachings. I also pray for not just "One Nation Under God" but "Nations Under God". I pray for the stirring that I'm feeling inside of me to go forth and for a beacon of Christ to emit from me for all to see the true workings of Christ...as a family, as a unit, as one! I don't have the words to express the deepness...but the possibilities that my small mind can conceive...and knowing that Christ can work so much deeper than our understanding.....I can only think of one word to describe it.....W O W !!! My final prayer is to pray for those where it all begins....us....the "Christ" followers. Let's bring'em home!!!

I am going through a divorce at 25. Please can you pray that God will forgive both my husband and I and that he will have His way in both of our lives? I have many questions for God about what is happening. I pray that my faith in him will be strong enough not to question why, but to make the most of my relationship with Him.

Please pray that I'll learn how to pray again. I've fallen so far away from where I used to be in my walk with God that I've begun to dread coming to God in prayer. I feel like I'm standing before my Savior and Creator as a failure and a hypocrite.

One Prayer has challenged me to rebuild my prayer life. I'll be praying and fasting along with the rest of you as much as I can. I've just got a few mental walls to knock down before I can open myself up to God in prayer again and I could use a lot of help with that.
