One Prayer

What Did God Do in Your Church this Weekend?

This weekend was a historic moment as more than 1,300 churches throughout the world kicked off the One Prayer series together. Whether we were meeting in a movie theater or a middle school, a small structure or a multi-level worship center, a thriving metropolis or a quiet town, we were united with over 750,000 believers—despite differences in time zone, geography, language, and culture. From South Africa, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the United States, Britain, Egypt, Pakistan, and beyond, we all gathered in one name to worship our one and only God.

It’s awe-inspiring to expand our perspective and realize just how far-reaching the Church really is. Yet regardless of its magnitude, God is at work in each individual life and every church to accomplish amazing things.

Let’s take today and celebrate what God did in our churches this weekend as we joined together in One Prayer. Share your stories below! Be sure to tell us the name of your church and where you’re located.

WOW!!! I was reading all the comments and stories from others who were a part of OnePrayer last weekend and I am in tears of joy and thanks to our one God.
I believe the OnePrayer message/movement is amazing and is becoming a blessing larger than all involved imagined. It is a lesson that all Christains need to wake up and hear in order to act as His disciples in a way that honors Him.

It is awesome that so many churches are uniting together to carry out One Prayer! I am praying for all the churches involved to be successful in this and to be blessed, as well as bless others who are not involved. Also, I am praying for the people and churches who refuse to help unite the church in one way or another, that God would open their eyes and minds to see that we are all in this together! This week at our church was amazing. The Saturday before our Sunday service I prayed and fasted for the following day to fill the church so many can hear the message. Not only did the church fill up, but we probably had the most attendance on a non-holiday. I'm excited to see what will happen this Sunday and what He will do with this series.

Looking so forward to growing this summer through the One Prayer challenge! Joined my first small group yesterday through Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, AL. I have been avoiding joining a small group for all the wrong reasons: Don't know anyone, don't have time...

When I went to the first meeting yesterday, God's presence was so clearly there and it was so clear that I was absolutely where God wanted me to be. He gave me tangible confirmations that gave me chilly bumps!

DON'T LET YOUR EXCUSES OR THE ENEMY KEEP YOU FROM WHERE GOD WANTS YOU TO BE AND FROM EXPERIENCING THE POWER OF UNITING WITH OTHER BELIEVERS IN ONE PRAYER! GO FOR IT! GO AFTER GOD!

I am very excited about one prayer and the unity that it can bring to the body of Christ! Pastor Jeremy,of Metro South Church in Trenton MI, spoke a wonderful message about us being unreal for Christ!! I pray that we will do that, that we won't be church as unsual or Christains as usual, but that we will be what he reallly wants us to be!!

I am a member of Journey Church in Norman, OK. This Sunday may have been one of the most profound experiences of my life. I don't know that I have ever felt the Holy Spirit speaking to me so clearly as I did that morning. Tears were streaming down my face for most of the experience and it seemed the talk was written specifically for me.

I had just spent the weekend with a friend of mine who has been suffering for years in so many ways - abusive relationships, poor choices, addiction and other self destructive behavior. Lately she has been spiraling out of control and I stayed up most of Saturday night worrying about her, and wondering what it would take to mend her brokenness.

Pastor Clark gave an inspired talk centered on Luke 5:18-19 when a group of men carried a suffering man, lowered him through the roof and laid him "right in front" of Jesus. Those men did WHATEVER IT TOOK to see that man healed. And I asked myself, am I willing to do whatever it takes for my friend to experience the miracle of healing thru Jesus Christ? Am I willing to carry her and place her right in front of Jesus? In all of my concern and worry, have I taken her to the cross?

What I realized is that I HAVE been carrying her. But I've been running around like a desperate person trying to find someone - anyone - who can help her, who can heal her. When all I really need to do is to lay her down right in front of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I felt such a burden lifted from my heart as I was able to release the sense of responsibility for her, and a new hope in the power of our God to transform lives.

God has moved in my church this week by bringing my husband back to the church through one prayer! My husband is an amazing spiritual person, but has been in a state of confusion and spiritual darkness in the past months. We've prayed about it together, but he still has not been attending lifechuch.tv with me. This past week I came home thrilled to death over the One Prayer mission, AND without me even asking him to my dear husband came to the next service with me. One Prayer has already touched my heart, and I can't wait to see how it moves in our lives in the weeks to come.

I knew it was going to really be great because satan was working hard on us Sunday morning. But finally overcoming and gettting to Church was awesome. This is beginning of something tremendous, I can feel it. As a whole, we can get back to our roots. He wants us -- ALL OF US!!
Following God is an amazing journey and I pray we bring the rest of the world with us. Let's introduce the lost world to the One and Only and show them just what He is capable of through us. God use us in amazing and unimaginable ways. We are all here together to serve you. We are READY!!

This weekend, our church focused on Making us Believe. I attend Palm Valley Church in Goodyear AZ. Pastor Greg was truly inspired by the Lord in his teaching this week. My husband and I came back to Christ five years ago. I am so excited about this concept. What could be accomplished if all the Christ followers in the world came together as one and planted a seed in all those who don't know Him. None of us are perfect, but together we can do anything. I am looking forward to the next 3 weeks. Praise God for being with me every day in everything I do and say and in giving me a place like Palm Valley to gather with other believers. Also thank God for a group of Pastors like the ones we have who have a true love for the Lord.

We are from Granger Community Church, Granger, IN. Jesus is Lord! It is about Jesus, not a denomination. Our joy is complete in Him! I attended two churches this weekend: GCC on Saturday and TUM as a musician on Sunday! Although they are not in the series, their service was also about prayer! I love how we could be the answer to God's prayer! Jesus is our Redeemer, our Healer, our Salvation, our Life, our Living Water, our Bread, our Listening God. Today He may help us be His answer. In His Name.

What a strong message just a few simple words can say. Is it not what we are called to do but to be "One?" God our Father gave his "One" son for us to pay the ultimate price for our sins. He took on something that no "One" person can ever overcome, and DID IT! How can we not be "One" and believe that He is our God and loves us so much. At Gateway Church in Austin,Texas our worshship band played a song by U2 called "One." I would encourage you to look up the lyrics to this song and read them. "One love, One blood, One life......" Again, what a strong message with just a few simple words. God Bless, and I encourage us all to continue as "One" even when this message is complete.

We were blessed in our weekly Men's group to witness to a young man who just happened to be catching a ride with a group member. He had to sit through our group because his ride didn't want to miss the group. He gave his life to Jesus and well all prayed with him. It was one of the most powerful moments in my life. The Holy Spirit filled the room and 7 men prayed for one and he was saved. An incredible moment and all to the Glory of God.

We started the One Prayer series with Pastor Craig Groeschel's message: "Make Us One." It was a great way to introduce "One Prayer" to everyone. Just posted a comment and failed to mention the church I'm attending - it's Horizon Chrurch in Statesville, NC with Charles Williams pastoring. I have been SO blessed since finding this church and believe they are on FIRE for God. Please keep us in prayer for continued growth as I will be for all churches everywhere. As we become stronger individuals, then we can become stronger churches - "for where there are two or more gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them". Let us all honor and glorify Him is all we do or say and constantly strive to walk in His footsteps! - and in the words of Tiny Tim " and God bless us everyone". Elaine Davis, Statesville

I love the fact that it's not about a building or a certain church, but about our own personal savior. The ONE that we all know and love! As walls come down, I pray that our eyes are opened to what God can do through willing and humble servants.

We had a very passionate service Sunday in which the Holy Spirit's presence was very prevalent. I was so moved by our Praise and Worship team, our pastor delivered a sermon that touched all our hearts and we also had a drama dance that was so moving!!. I'm excited about the OnePrayer movement and will be much in prayer for all Christians everywhere to examine themselves closely in their walk with our Lord and strive to proclaim His word to others. This is all about HIM, and not all about what denomination, what kind of clothes you wear, what kind of job you have or your standing in the community. He accepts us as we are, by no works of our own, so we should accept others unconditionally as well! We must all come together as ONE, as Christ instructs us and stand in unity to proclaim His gospel. Bless all the churches who have joined this effort and may be all seek God's will for our lives individually as well as our ministry.

I'm on staff at New Life Church in Arkansas... the Heber Springs Campus, and we watched Craig's messgae for the OnePrayer series. We all know there are so many walls that divide the church, but it was inspiring to hear someone talk about what might happen if they really came down... how lives would be changed if we TRULY loved each other as Jesus called us to love each other in John 13:34&35. The interviews of non-Christians on the streets of NY were powerfully compelling. It was obvious God spoke to many during the service... and I know my heart was ignited with a fresh passion to work to this end- to make us ONE.

Great idea! This week at the Church at Battle Creek in Tulsa, OK we were reminded that God wants an intimate relationship with us and of the importance of us simply "abiding in him." That is so simple and yet such strong medicine.

I attend H2OChurch.tv, Ada, OK campus. We have seen an inkling of the unity of believers through the start-up of our campus. We're excited to be a part of a world-wide effort. Our Life Group is committed to fasting and praying on Tuesdays, with some contributing the $5 they would have spent on lunch to support a Compassion child. Imagine 700,000 people giving $5 every Tuesday for church planting. That would total $14 million for the 4 week series. That would be a pretty good start... Craig's sermon was inspiring and I can't wait to see the rest. Blessings from Ada!

My friend sat next to me last night and it was her very first time at our church. She was inspired and moved in such a way that she will be back next week and intends on showing up for all 3 gatherings over the next 3 weeks.
Also as the saints opened in worship, singing before watching the sermon was so dull to what remained after... It was like a small smoke stack in our hearts was set on fire. Everyone was so loud and full of praise and worship it was off the hook beautiful and sent chills down my body the whole time. THIS IS WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!

Sunday's message from Craig was awesome! I am so excited about this message and the remaining weeks to come in this series, uniting all of us as one!! Seeing the videos of Craig's street interviews was absolutely heart wrenching. To know there are so many people who see our churches as divided, to see us as divided and to say they do not know any Christians breaks my heart. I believe it's not just where Craig was interviewing, it is all around us. I am praying that God will bring us all together as one in our church and all of the other churches, so everyone can see Christ Alive in us. I was so moved by the "what if" time line that Craig laid out. If we, as the bride of Christ, actually did as we should and joined together as ONE, the world would be completely changed, transformed, and by the end of the week when it was time to worship together-- all I can do is close my eyes and imagine the overwhelming glory and presence we would experience. This relates into our daily lives as well as the big picture. I mean, start with a much smaller number like a family unit (except in Craig's case ;) what if a family would come together with the same goals and the same love of Christ? What an amazing transformation Christian culture could experience. What if we were all as truly selfless as we are called to be? What if we were so in love with our Lord as He loves us that we could not help but to emit His love and power and presence? What a world, what a bride, what a gift to God that could be. I pray that I glorify Christ in all that I do, that we all do. We are the link between the purely physical and the purely spiritual worlds. How incredible.

At New LIfe Christian Fellowship in Pacifica CA we kicked off the series with Craig Groeschel's prayer that God would make us one. It was very exciting to see our church family really see what we had been talking about as the leadership had shared our anticipation of this wonderful opportunity to begin to learn what Jesus really wanted for us. We are observing the whole of this week as a week of prayer and fasting, focusing on a different prayer each day. Wednesday will be a special all church prayer meeting with a children's track.
As I was having my quiet time this morning I was recalling yesterdays message and thought its not enough just to be "not quareling" with my brothers and sisters because often there is still nothing positive in the relationship, we are still often "not speaking" by default! So I am asking God to show us here how we can put that right

  • Lynn Langston 5 months ago

the one prayer series really brought to realization just how much we as Christians AREN'T together! Their are too many takes on what a Christian should be, when what we should be looking at (which is living for God) should all be for the same purpose - but we all come short of that purpose I think because of the human factor - we all have some degree of competiveness, even if it is our Christianity. I feel there is always someone who wants to "challenge" my salvation, because that particular person feels that I am not really saved. according to how "they" think I should be . .. I'm not saying there should be a rule or something that stringent, It's just my opinion that something as joyous as serving the Lord should be happy and not soooooo rigid like the world is making it!!

It is so exciting to see what God is doing in His people as we unite! I see prayer in two ways, offensive and defensive. Alot of times it is easy to slip into praying last in a situation and find ourselves on a goal line stance with the devil. I am excited about how OFFENSIVE we are becoming in this One Prayer gathering. We can take ground the Lord has given us with this intentional first action of PRAYER! Not by power or by might, but by His Spirit (Zec 4:6) may the Kingdom of God forcefully advance!

May God pour out His Spirit on all of us in a MIGHTY way!

I am looking forward to the fruit that will come from this outpouring!

Horizon Church, Statesville, NC here. As we studied and prayed together this weekend,
God moved in many ways! We celebrated through an awesome service on unity across
all boundaries as Christians, free of denominational influence. Following service, we
had a ministry fair, opening opportunities for the body to participate in the work of God, and
wound up the day with a great baptism service, and was even able to reach out to those

My one prayer for the church is that we might be Springs. Not the bouncing kind, but the kind that overflows with living water. I really feel that God wants His body not to come to church to be quenched, but to be over flowing so that we can quench a thirsty world.

I pray we worship with more and more people each week.

This past Sunday at Albion Church in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada we prayed "Make us Holy". Our pastor preached 1Peter1:15-16 and used the analogy of a race (like Paul did in "not looking back but pressing on toward the goal") to be "On your mark, get set, go" in living holy lives so as to reflect the character of Christ. The idea was if we lived with integrity and made holy, God-centered choices in our daily lives our light would shine and others would see this and want to know why. Sometimes it is difficult to detect Christ followers in our post modern culture as we don't live any different than the world around us. Our priorities aren't any different from the average pagan and it can affect our walk with God and our witness to others. I think we were challenged and encouraged to look deeply within and evaluate who we are in Christ, and our calling as Christians. We are also look ing forward to the video messages from other pastors in the weeks to come and are excited to be joining with so many from around the globe in One Prayer.

This week, through One Prayer, God revealed to me that not only should I unite with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, but that I should work my hardest to unite my family as One. I was so blessed this week when my little sister finally decided to come back to church and give this whole "God thing" a chance again. God answered my prayers. And our dad was sitting right there. Later on in the night when she was asked, "Who would you want to be with during the face of tragedy?" She answered, "Mindi (me) and Bryan (my boyfriend)." She was asked, "Why?" And she answered, "Because I know I would feel safe with them. They would pray for me and with me and tell me it's all going to be okay." It filled my heart with so much hope. Yesterday was God saying to me, "Unite your family." I look forward to the coming weeks of this message and the unitedness it will bring to everyone in my community. I know that at The Ed, I saw many tears of joy and hope. This fills my heart to overflowing, and I just can't wait to see what's next.

On Sunday afternoon, I was listening to an old Bob Marley CD and the song One love really hit home for the first time.

Here are some of the lyrics

Hi, my name is Ashley and I attend Bay Community Church in Daphne AL. I am so excited about this series and what God is doing in our church. Our one prayer for our church is to be "free." This rolled over to our encounter service where we where healed of whatever emotional or physical pain that we had at this stage of our life. God was moving in our church last night!!! Praise God :) I can tell you that I have had some extra emotional weight and with-in seconds it was lifted. It was so amazing to see how many people where reaching to Jesus for healing. It was amazing to see people come to Jesus for the first time. It is difficult to put into words the beauty of watching this event. Anyhow, back to the series…I think this is great uniting with 1,300 other churches to preach this series. After all we all serve One God. I think we will truly see many amazing things happen in the next few weeks. God Bless all of you :)

It is amazing to come together with other believers from around the world that genuinely desire to make a difference in this world for Jesus. We have no idea what could be achieved in our world if as believers we stood together and decided to pool our efforts and work together for God's glory.

I can't wait to see what God does through our churches. We are living in exciting days and together we will make a difference for Jesus.

We were challenged to pray 'Lord make us fruitful' like Jesus. Whoever we are and where ever we are in the world, God has chosen us and appointed us to bear much fruit. The keys for us to bear fruit is to 1. Co operate with God as he prunes us, even when it's painful! 2. Stay connected to Jesus 3. Know the true power of God's word in you.

We saw many people responding to Jesus say Lord have your way in my life I respond to you. I love you and I trust you, whatever you want to do in me do it - I want to be fruitful in my life for you in this world.

Our small group was the best ever! People were inspired to participate and entered into excellent discussion about what could happen in our work place, city , nation and world if Christians united together. This has certainly challenged all our guys to start to think differently.

    can't wait until next week!

sorry.. no home church.. frequent a couple .... I do not set walls or boundries on "church". I am , however, encouraged by the effort of this movement to create unity. church groups are just that, small groups that together add up to a great number of people that are sometimes unified for the same purpose, and are suposed to be working for Gods purpose. If we keep the main thing ( sharing gods word) the main thing, then we can be unified.. Yahweh is who we serve... we are to serve him alone
for me to share his words and works is what i am to do.... when judgement comes at the end , will i be asked how i treated my brothers in christ? I think so... mathew 12: 26-..

One voice, One Faith, ONE PRAYER to our Lord in Heaven to Raise our Voices, open our Hearts and renew our Faith for some and strengthen for others. I would have to tell you that My one prayer would be; to remove the divisions in the church so that the Holy Spirit could move in a way that we have never witnessed in our lifetime. God Bless You All.

I am so excited about what God is doing/is going to do during this series. It was AMAZING to hear how the 1365 churches participating in "One Prayer" are pooling our resources together to do 500 new church plants in 4 different nations! PRAISE GOD!!! Today I am celebrating with you all what God is doing and I am also praying that everyone involved (including myself) will have our faith increased and will be more passionate about Jesus!!! One Prayer is an answer to prayer....

I have been in the same place as Christian, knowing that the way I believe every scripture was the only way it could be interpreted. This put all other christians as an enemy to be converted to the truth. If a non christian at work was being witnessed to by another believer from one of these "false" denominations I considered it my duty to intervene and set them both straight - ending in everyone being confused and no one growing stronger in their or any faith.

This lead me to pray and seek God as to why we are so fragmented, and how we could be united in one Faith as Jesus prayed. I have since learned we must first come together under one faith in Christ, before any honest dialouge can be started on the points on which we differ.

We battle against all kinds of evil - but without Satan, none of the evil would exist, and the division we see in denominations is some of Satan's best work.

I believe One Prayer is seeking to unite us on the common ground - and help us to see the world is perishing as the church fights each other.

I pray God continues to speak to us, to unite us, to lead us to be His people.

I am very eagerly awaiting God's moving in this endeaver, I am praying that many (all) who are hearing this series do what is expected Me and my family included). Even before we got to our church on Sunday for the opening service, we had an experience that made our family think and feel like God still is in Control. We passed and eledrly gentleman on the side of the road who had a sign that said will work for food. I made the comment that if he was still there after church we would take him out to eat. My wife and daughter both said maybe we should take him to church with us! We all thought that was a good idea so we turned around as soon as we had a spot to, and went back to invite him to come to church with us. While we were returning we talked about the scripture, in Mathew where Jesus said in response to "when did we see you hungry", ( as ye did it not unto one of these least, ye did it not unto me.) To our dismay and pleasure he was not there when we got back. His sign and his bottle of water were stil sitting there but he was gone. We jokingly said maybe he went back to heaven for a little bit. He had been standing in a corn field that was right across the street from a church that was just letting out from its service, and we hope he was picked up by one of the people from that church, someone who had the same I dea we did. Praise God...

I had the privilege of hearing Craig's message 5 times this weekend, I got to do audio at Granger Community Church, and I was blessed each service. As we "the called out ones" begin to live up to our calling, Father's will can be accomplished here on earth just as it is in Heaven. Our prayer for years around here is to "bring up there, down here". If we, all of us who claim Jesus as Saviour and Lord, can become one in Him, He will remain alive in us and we will see His return.
I count it a privilege to serve Christ in His Body and will be praying for all who hear the "call" in the next several weeks as this series continues. I pray for all the "technical ministers" at each location making this possible for all to see and hear. And I pray for each of the Pastors who have selflessly allowed the movement to begin and I pray they will be blessed and strengthen in their ministries.

I HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED THAT BEING AUTHENTIC STARTS WITH ME AND THAT WHEREVER I GO, I AM THE CHURCH IN THE MARKETPLACE, THE GROCERY STORE, THE PARK WITH MY 3 YEAR OLD GREAT NEPHEW, WHEREVER IT MAY BE, I HAVE FOUND I WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO BLESS SOMEONE EVEN IF IT IS IN A SMALL WAY AND IN THE PROCESS OF HONORING JESUS, I AM SURELY TO GET BLESSED. MAY ALL OF US REALIZE THAT IN BEING OURSELVES AND LETTING THE HOLY SPIRIT USE US IN A UNITED ARMY FOR CHRIST WE DO INDEED BECOME DANGEROUS. Let's post some first names of those we are praying for this week. Watch as God invades their life and reveals Himself to them. Not only is the church uniting through One Prayer but many people are becoming the church through One Prayer.

    Hi,
I worship at Milton Keynes Christian Centre in the UK. MKCC is a vibrant, diverse Church that has really changed my life since I refound my faith in November 2005. This weekend was amazing as our Pastor Mark gave the first teaching in the One Prayer series and explained what was going to be happening over the coming 3 weeks. I feel so excited to be involved in something like this where 1300 Churches from accross the world are joining together to raise money to plant new Churches and to spread Gods word.
I pray that many people will find Jesus during this time and I ask that our Lord uses me in whatever way he wishes to do His will.

I, like millions around the world I'm sure, have been crying out to God to move in such a way that no man could take credit for it, and that we would stand together in unity, (not uniformity), be different from the world in that we would see the strength in our diversity, and show the world that we love one another. I don't know about anyone else, but the impact and importance of the One Prayer campaign was made very real for us yesterday. It was our first-ever preview service as Revolution Church Sacramento and Satan was all over us. We had to deal with a lot of unexpected things and some of them went wrong without any possible explanation.

Obviously God is doing some amazing an life-changing things within the churches and throughout the world and the devil wants to destroy it. Maybe Satan picked on us because we at Revolution Church Sacramento had our first service as a new church plant at the same time as the One Prayer project, but I'd venture to guess that others can relate to our experience. Let's keep praying for the churches to be ONE, but let's also pray against the spiritual warfare Satan will continue bringing to help cause us to stumble.

This is such an amazing time that will make history within the Church and it is such an honor and a privilege to be standing as ONE with all of you!

What a awesome God we serve, To allow the Holy Spirit to speak to our Pastors to Get our Churches involved in this Series One Prayer. Today the Holy Spirit was moving through our Pastor Gary Shiohama at Southbay Community Church In Gardena, Ca. And his message was titled Make us Urgent ! And I believe that it is so true that as Christians we need to be URGENT in uniting all the body of belivers and take a stand for Christ and get out there and spread the Gospel to our familys, friends, schools, work places, and even strangers. More then ever the signs are obvious out there, so we also need to be urgent in building our church bodys throughout all of our churches into houses of prayer and seeking god's word. So we can go out and fullfill spreading the Gospel. My Prayer is Father God in these next several weeks and from today forward that you will ignite a fire by the power of your holy spirit in myself and all the brothers and sisters throughout all the churches involved in this One prayer to Pray and to take a stand for you and just emerse our self in your word and reach out to the lost and lead them to you. In Jesus Name Amen.

Med89, I am praying for your son to return to the faith, maybe this oneprayer series will be just the thing to spark his interest.
Quinton, I am praying for all of the people you have listed and their salvation. Funny, I have a list like that too (I call it my list of life).
Craig and all of the other leaders, thanks for listening to the heart of God and leading us in this direction. It's like a breath of fresh air. God is working in a mighty way! I always knew there were so many divisions among churches but I never thought about there actually being a solution or that we could ever come together like this. It's so exciting to think about it! After last week and today's message I belive that we can do this, it's tangible, believable.
Unity, wow! Let's go change the world!
I want to change, I want to be a better Christian, one who truly cares for others.
Please God let us be about OTHERS!

I am so glad about being part of One Prayer. I grew up in a very denominationally sensitive home. My father is a minister and raised me to believe his denomination was "the" right one. For some reason, the older I got, the less that seemed right to me. I didn't get frustrated with God, I just figured that all his children sure were making Him sad.

All through college and early married life it has been so hard to find a church where I felt like I belonged or more importantly where I figured Jesus could just come in and hang out and say "now this is what I was talking about." My wife and I agree that we have finally found a church where we really act like the body of Christ and not just say that is what we are.

I have had many visions of what Heaven will be like. I think about it often. Two things I am sure of: It will be far more glorious than I have envisioned and that there won't be different denominational sections for believers to hang out in. Amen. I laughed until I cried at the devil skit, really. The sad part is that it was so very true. Thank goodness God has a sense of humor and that He is patient.

Since God is doing His work through these efforts, let's focus on what unites us in Christ and try not to get so hung up on all that other stuff that unties us. Let us not be weary in well doing, for in the end we shall reap if we faint not. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

As I listened to Pastor Craig's OnePrayer vision message last week, I saw 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 in a whole new light. Up until now, I've always looked at that passage from the perspective of a local church. Now I see it from the perspective of The Church globally.

My prayer is simply this: Lord, please let Your Church, every single denomination all over the world, live these verses out AS ONE CHURCH so that the rest of the world may see You. May we ALL BE ONE!

Our pastor Jeff gave his hope that the church be "LOUD". We were challenged to pray the following prayer this week with a heart of reaching the world through God in our lives.

"Dear God, thank you for being a living God. Thank you for visually
demonstrating your ideal in Jesus, and for the lifestyle you invite and empower
us into through Him. Please make us clear pictures of you to the watching
world—representatives of your love, your grace and your truth. And please give
us the courage to involve ourselves in your mission to reach and serve a lost and broken world, so we can grow spiritually in ways that teaching on and discussion
about faith cannot provide. Please God, make our actions louder than our words.
For our world’s sake. For our growth’s sake. And for Jesus’ sake. Lord, make
    us loud!"

I am looking forward to the rest of the series, and to see the fruit of the church coming together in unity!! :) I am thrilled our church decided to be part of this!

I could so relate to the situation in his home town about the divided church. In my home town anyone who got made at our church would go off and start a new church... In fact, my home town holds the record for most churches per capita... Sad when you think the town only has 20K people.... I love the thought that people around the world are praying for unity of God's people! We should love the people of the world....

The Demographic Party has spent over $400 Million so far to get their candidate to run for President. By the time the election is through , both parties will spend almost 3/4 of a Billion. That just demostrates a fraction of the dollars that would be available to solve the problems of poverty, and health care if The Church was United and let Jesus take control. I believe in separation of Church and State. Get the State out of the way and let God take control!!!

I enjoyed the change of pace with today's video sermon. It was very well-designed, entertaining, and had great visuals. But after our service, later in the evening when I was looking over my notes, I was kind of confused about some of the teaching.

First, I thought that we have three enemies, not one. The Bible says that the devil is our enemy, but I thought it also says that the world and the flesh are also our enemies. We battle against the world system of corrupt power groups, false religions, and those who seek to destroy us for the name of Christ. We also battle against our own fleshly lusts and desires. So how many enemies do we have?

Second, while we want to be One, we cannot have unity at the expense of truth. I was thinking about the introduction where Craig was talking about how the witnessing man said that he heard that Craig's church did not preach the truth. While I do not believe that man's statement necessarily, we cannot have unity in the church at the sacrifice of truth. The entire book of 2 John was written around this concept. And when there are churches that break from doctrine, we cannot have unity. Even Paul said divisions have to happen for the truth to emerge (1 Corinthians 11:18-19). How do we approach this in being One?

Third, I was also confused about other things like eradicating poverty, when Jesus said that there would always be poor people (Mark 14:7), and how we shouldn't pay attention to Bible translations, when some of them are definitely wrong and do not say what the original languages say. What do we do about these concepts?

I experienced a profound awakening of what it means to be a believer in Christ Jesus.
I am praying that all believers will come together to heal our world and praise God for
all our blessings. More, that we can learn to share and care for each other as Jesus taught
    us to do.
I am amazed the Jesus prayed for even me before I was born that I would join his disciples

I attend the LifeChurch.tv Oklahoma City campus and am so very grateful to be part of this movement. Watching the interviews of non-believers was so powerful, to hear them describe their view of Christians was heartbreaking. We have so much work to do, but as we come together as One, we will answer Jesus prayer. I'm excited about fasting with thousands of others each Tuesday and can't wait for my family to participate in the One Prayer mission on the 21st!

I just want to say excited I am about all of this. I am brand new to the Christian faith, and the interviews on the street reminded me of why I was so afraid and hesitant to make the switch from "i-think-there-is-something-out-there" to Christian. I am very excited to be a part of the solution and to be able to show people what this is really all about. Craig was absolutely right, if we could all come together as one, we could save the world. There is no dream too big, not when Jesus is involved. Let's do this! I cannot wait to be a part of this lifechanging, WORLDchanging event.

I'm excited about this oneprayer series - we're fasting the lunch meal every tuesday...and I'm doing a T.V. fast the first part of this week to pray for this series.

I was humbled in ways never before in church today; and I was also deeply inspired to unite with as many people as I can. It's not about the name of the church, it's about Jesus; we all need to remember that.

After hearing the message the Holy Spirit took firm hold of my heart. I emailed all of my siblings and my Mom, asked them to join in fasting Tuesday for our dad's salvation. Also asked them to forgive me if I have ever said anything negative about their churches that was mean spirited or hurtful. Two of four brothers have already responded and will be joining in fasting and praying.

Wow, Praise God and Hallelujah! I'm sooooooooooo thrilled and ready to receive and respond to all that God wants. May God will be done on earth as it is done in Heaven. Unity, Purity and Love for Jesus is what we need. Let's throw off everything that hinders us from being fully surrendered to Him! Not by might, nor by power but by Your Spirit, Precious Lord. I'm from Edmond Lifechurch campus!

We actually had people in town on business come worship with us this morning because they didn't want to miss one prayer while they were traveling on business. How cool is that?

Service at Gateway Community Church in Austin, TX was awesome today. I believe that as Christians we do need to put aside our differences and focus on the bigger picture. What difference does it make if we are a traditional or contemporary church. God knows the will of our heart and that's what matters the most. "United we stand, divided we fall" could not be more true of our walk. on a personal level and on a global level we must stand united to help end the suffering for all mankind.

I pray that this series will touch many and open there heart, minds, and eyes to the wonderful things we can accomplish with God's help when we stand as a united front against the enemy.
